The City of Omaha is partnering with SilverStone Group to conduct a compensation study of jobs for Four bargaining groups: Administrative and Executive, Civilian Bargaining(Local 251), Civilian Management and Functional Bargaining. The goal of this project is to determine market competitive pay rates in an effort to help the City attract and retain a qualified workforce.
During this project, SilverStone Group will complete a market analysis by compiling compensation data from published survey sources to determine competitive pay rates in the Omaha Metro. SilverStone Group will also be collecting compensation data from comparable city municipalities. The market analysis and data collection for the survey are expected to take place through the end of the year.
All phases of the project will be completed by March 2020 and the data that is collected and analyzed will impacted budget preparations for 2021.
If you have any questions about the compensation project being completed by SilverStone Group please contact Jim Belgley, Compensation Manager at James.Begley@cityofomaha.org or (402) 444-7437.
