Sue Martin the President/Secretary-Treasurer of the Nebraska State AFL-CIO has sent an urgent letter asking all Union members to contact their State Senator immediately. All Union members should ask their State Senator to vote NO to the Governor’s appointment to the Commission of Industrial Relations, or the CIR. Appointments to the CIR directly affects our Union should we decide to go to court over one of our contracts. Please take the time to read President Sue Martins letter. THIS IS URGENT and must be done IMMEDIATELY, as the appointment will be on the agenda on Thursday, May 30th. Contact your State Representative and urge them to VOTE NO on this appointment.

Upon consideration of the extended hours and weekends that many of our employees have been working, the picnic hours have changed. The park will be open at 2:00 pm and we invite anyone to join us at that time, however, in order to include members working extended hours, we will be serving food later than originally planned. Please feel free to join us at any time during the day June 1st, 2019!
