THE HUMAN RESOURCE DIRECTOR JUST CONTACTED LOCAL 251 AND HAS AGREED TO SIT DOWN WITH UNION OFFICIALS TO PUT TOGETHER A SURVEY THAT WILL GO OUT TO ALL STREET MAINTENANCE EMPLOYEES. THIS SURVEY WILL BE A WAY FOR PEOPLE TO ANONYMOUSLY VOICE THEIR COMPLAINTS. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS CALLED AND EMAILED. YOU MADE THIS HAPPENAs some of you know there is an ongoing investigation into management of the Street Maintenance Department. We need all Street Maintenance employees whether you are a current employee, retired, or if you have transferred to another department to contact Tim Young, the Human Resources Director to discuss the issues you have had with management of the Street Maintenance Department. The discussions you have with Tim Young will not be held against you. The things you say to him will not be repeated to the Street Maintenance Department managers. This is our one and only opportunity to speak up about this. We cannot be scared or intimidated to speak up. If you want to see changes in the Management of Street Maintenance Department now is the time.
